Satay Stir Fry Noodles Beef Spices San Francisco
1. E&O Kitchen and Bar
Try the chicken satay & the spicy red rice!
I've tried shrimp satay - tender smoky taste made them delicious and special. Salad with shrimps lichee and mango was refreshing.
$1 oysters, $1 dumplings, $3 ahi tuna tartare, $3 tamarind and hoisin pork spare ribs, $4 beef short rib slider, $3 chicken satay, $6 cocktails, $6 wine, or $4 beer during happy hour Mon-Sat 3-6pm.
2. Thai Time
Order the tofu satay and any red curries. Order too much food. Eat it all. And remember that this is better than any other thai in the neighborhood.
The chicken satay was heavenly! The spicy Thai fried rice was okay, but the spicy sauce and powder they give on the side made it awesome!
Has a great lunch deal from 11:30-3 on Tuesday-Friday! 2 items, rice and soup for $9.95! The rest of their lunch menu is under $8!
3. Basil Canteen
Wow! The chicken satay is some of the best I've ever had
Had some food delivered via Postmates. Chicken Satay was undercooked and pink(!)
dependable Thai food in soma. great for groups to share small plates. curries re delicious
4. Pho Ha Tien
Best sate beef noodle soup in the city!
This place is delicious! Try the sandwiches are quite yummy but everything I've had is delicious as well. Easily accessible by the K line (which passes by) and Balboa BART.
Not sure why this place didn't get rated higher. The BBQ pork sandwich is great and the pho looks bomb. Plenty of happy, sedated faces here. Mine included.
5. HRD
Beef Satay Over Rice...so...many...flavors!
Love the scrambled eggs chicken satay!
The salmon burgers are not on the menu yet, but they are delicious. Special spicy mayonnaise rocks! They also have turkey burgers off the menu.
Nothing fancy, but very tasty offerings of south-east cuisine. We typically order beef rendang, chicken satay, and nasi goreng.
Satisfying southeast Asian fare, unpretentious. Casual and family friendly space. Come Thursday or Friday to try their laksa (they run out of the fresh herbs and ingredients sometimes).
Roti and martabak are great!
7. Regent Thai
Great but inexpensive Thai. Child-friendly. Great green chicken curry, red pumpkin curry, very good Chicken Satay.
Charming service, decent prices and pleasant ambiance
Carnivores, try the double cooked duck. Crispy goodness.
8. Lao Table
The Pad Thai and the chicken satay is surprisingly authentic and good! American sized portions though
The Tuna Tower with Tuna Tar Tar, mango and avocado is incredible as well as the Lamb Satay and Crab Pad Thai!! A regular favorite!!
Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Very contemporary. The Country Chicken and honey glazed duck was superb.
9. Million Thai
Quick and easy lunch stop for anyone near Union Square. Clean easy lunch menu, Chicken Satay is simple and delicious.
My most fave dish is Grilled Prawns. The seafood sauce (spicy & sour) is to die for. Just a warning, when they say spicy, they really mean it. So make sure you let them know which level you can handle
They're great at making Isaan (Northeastern) food. Besides their awesome Somtam (papaya salad), they also make good Tom Super (Chicken Feet Soup) and Namtok Kor Moo Yang (Grilled Pork Neck Salad).
Decent thai food , good panang curry a d pad kee mao. Satay chicken was good too. Ambience is not great probably that's why it's so low rated
An awesome family owned and operated, super friendly neighborhood place. They make you feel very comfortable. Super Food as well !!
Fried banana dessert. Yum.
11. Lers Ros Thai
The papaya salad is amazing!! Ask them to make it spicy! We also had amazing yellow chicken curry and satay chicken also amazing!!
I love the Pad see-ew with beef, also the ramen is great (tried the yellow one)
The service is absolutely horrible.
12. Mandalay
Get the tea smoked duck and green papaya salad. Skip the satay
The mandalay noodles are out of this world. Tea tree salad, coconut rice and the jasmine leaf tea.
Go to Mandalay and order the Tea Leaf Salad.
13. Aux Delices
Beef Satay is divine ;)
Aux Delices serves the best Bo Luc Lac (Vietnamese Shaken Beef) in San Francisco, because this is the only restaurant to use tender filet mignon for this dish. Definitely worth the price! Delicious!!
Garlic noodles!
14. Presidio Visitor Center
Great place to start your visit to the Presidio.
Got a question about the Presidio? Ask a ranger or volunteer. 415-561-4323
Great history and story
15. Lers Ros Thai
The chicken satay is tasty
Pad see-ew is great. Also the fried trout is tops. And if you are in the mood for soup get the tom kha kai
Sure Lers Ros is the only authentic Thai restaurant with rabbit, frog and venison on its regular menu, but even the pad Thai rivals the best you'll find anywhere in Thailand. [Eater 38 Member] Read more.
